Thank You

We just wanted to thank everyone who has helped us so far and who will help us.  We will try very hard while on the trail to update this as much as possible with anyone who helps us along the way.

First, we want to thank our families.  It has been an amazing encouragement to see them get excited about our trip almost as much as we are.  They will be the ones sending us food and supplies in our mail drops and this will be time consuming.  We are in good hands.

International Mountain Equipment (IME) in Utah- These guys are awesome.  If you have any gear questions about climbing, backpacking, or mountaineering, this is the place to go.  They know what they are talking about and are always willing to help.  If anyone is planning a trip, we suggest going here.

Yogi and Halfmile (and the rest of the PCT community)- This community is amazing.  If anyone is worried about us being alone for 5 months, they need not be!  The group of people that both hike and maintain this trail are very close and we will  never be truly alone.  Yogi writes all of the trail town books and a planning book that have helped us with most of our choices for both gear and mail drops.  Halfmile provides all of the maps that we will need along the entire trail-and he provides them for free!  These two resources have been invaluable.
